Medical Exemption Certificates

If you require a bag that does not comply with our policy, or need to bring items that are not usually permitted (such as food and drink) for medical reasons, we can issue you with a Medical Exemption Certificate. This certificate must be presented to security upon entry. Please note your bag will still be subject to a search on arrival.

Please review our prohibited items list before requesting a medical exemption. If the item or its material is allowed and can fit into a standard A4 bag, a medical exemption certificate is not required.

When requesting a Medical Exemption Certificate, please provide the following details:

  • Full name:
  • Event:
  • Date of event:
  • Phone number:
  • Ticket details (turnstile, block number, seat number):
  • Details of what you require (e.g. food and drink, medical equipment, mobility aid, medication, or other):
  • Do you require a larger bag than stated in the bag policy? (Yes/No)

Please note: If you intend to bring water into the stadium, only clear, empty, crushable plastic bottles of 500ml or less are permitted. This applies to all guests, including those with a Medical Exemption Certificate.

For concerts water bottles are not permitted in pitch standing areas. Any water brought into the stadium will be decanted into a plastic cup before entry to the pitch.

Please only request a Medical Exemption Certificate if your event is within the next 7 days, as we are unable to issue certificates earlier than this timeframe.
