To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, certain items are not allowed inside Wembley Stadium. Please read carefully before your visit.

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, certain items are not allowed inside Wembley Stadium. Please read carefully before your visit.

  • Knives & blades

  • Fireworks

  • Smoke devices & canisters

  • Pyrotechnics

  • Air horns

  • Flares

  • Weapons

  • Dangerous or hazardous items

  • Illegal substances

  • Explosives or ammunition

  • Firearms

  • Any item that could be used as a weapon, considered offensive or abusive, or compromise public safety


Restricted Items

The following items are not permitted within the stadium and anyone found with them may be refused entry:

  • Unlicensed musical instruments (e.g., trumpets, drums, vuvuzelas, megaphones)

  • Flag poles over 1m in length

  • Laser devices

  • Bottles or glass vessels (including perfume bottles) – exception: clear, crushable plastic bottles up to 500ml without tops are allowed and can be filled at free water stations

  • Aluminium containers & cans

  • Flasks

  • Poles, frisbees, scooters, skateboards, or other skates

  • Dangerous or hazardous items

  • Signs or items with corporate or inappropriate branding

  • Unauthorized fliers & drones

  • Spray paint or large industrial marker pens

  • Prams & pushchairs (assessed per event)

  • Transmitting devices

  • Large-bodied, professional, or recording cameras (interchangeable lenses not permitted)

  • Selfie sticks

  • Laptops and tablets

  • Illegal merchandise items

  • Hard plastic, metal, or glass bottles

  • Illegal charity collection utensils

  • Motorbike helmets

  • Large umbrellas

  • Darts, hampers, cold boxes

  • Alcohol, food & drink (except permitted items)

  • Animals (except service or guide dogs)

  • Bags exceeding A4 size (medical exemptions may apply)

  • Any national flag not representing the competing international teams

  • Concert-specific items: posters larger than A3


Please note: This list may change without notice, so check before every visit to ensure compliance.


Third-Party Events

While Wembley Stadium is owned by The Football Association, not all events are FA events (e.g., Carabao Cup Final, Play-Off Finals, concerts, non-football sports).

Event owners may have their own prohibited items policies, which override this list. These will be communicated directly to ticket holders for non-FA events.
